Why airports still close runways to pick up a bolt
A single fastener on a runway can shred a tire or get ingested by an engine — so airports still stop traffic and send a person out to walk the pavement. We look at why the detect-only towers that dominate the market don't remove the risk, only report it, and what a closed loop changes.
Most industrial AI ends at a bounding box or an alert. But the value in the physical world is in the action that follows — the grasp, the rework, the stop.
